Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 October, Tashkent hosted the Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan Business Forum, organized with the support of the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

The forum brought together over 100 representatives from ministries, industry associations, and companies from both countries, including QazTrade, Kedentransservis, iMas Group, Medial Group, Asyl Dan Trade, StalTsink, Empire Food, and others.

Opening remarks were delivered by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Khurram Teshabayev and Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration Aidar Abildabekov, who highlighted the high level of business cooperation and expressed readiness to further expand partnership.

In January–September 2025, bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan reached US$3.5 billion, up 16% compared to the same period last year. Uzbekistan’s exports amounted to US$1.1 billion, a 7% increase year-on-year. Currently, 1,157 enterprises with Kazakh capital operate in Uzbekistan.

The forum featured presentations of investment opportunities and bilateral G2B and B2B meetings.

As a result of the discussions, agreements were signed on cooperation in the food industry, construction, and agro-industrial sectors, strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
