Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 May this year, the opening ceremony of the International Exhibition "Achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of industry and production" was held at Uzexpocentre.

The exhibition covered various sectors of the economy. More than 40 Uzbek companies took part in it.

The exhibition was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Uzbekistan H. Nayerobodiya, in his speech he noted that Iran and Uzbekistan have fertile ground for bilateral cooperation in many areas.

Then the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan D. Vakhabov spoke. In his speech, he focused on the commitment of the two countries to intensify interaction in order to create the most favorable conditions for attracting Iranian and Uzbek entrepreneurs and investors to practical cooperation.

After the official opening ceremony, the guests toured the expositions of the exhibition. This exhibition will end its work today, on 11 May 2022.
