Tashkent hosts seminar on training prosecutors
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Tashkent hosted a seminar “Issues of training, selecting and appointing cadres to prosecutors’ bodies of China and Uzbekistan”, the press service of Prosecutor-General of Uzbekistan said.
The delegation of Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the event.
At the seminar, the participants discussed issues of selecting, training and improving skills of prosecutors in Uzbekistan and China.
In particular, the sides considered experience of China in training prosecutors, modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
The Chinese side also informed the Uzbek side on judicial-legal reforms in China.
The participants underlined gradual development of cooperation between prosecutor offices of Uzbekistan and China.
The sides noted satisfaction with current state of cooperation and intention to expand its legal framework via signing memorandum of understanding and cooperation between prosecutor offices of two states and programme of cooperation between prosecutor offices of Uzbekistan and China for next two years.
