Tashkent hosts seminar on introduction of quality management system

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan hosted a seminar “From quality management to quality of management. Opportunities of international standard ISO 9001:2008”. It was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Body on certification SSP ASTRAIA MANAJMENT.

The seminar was organized for representatives of the enterprises, interested in introduction of system on quality management in line with the international standard ISO 9001:2008.

The seminar was aimed at familiarizing participants with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standards, norms-legislative requirements in quality management system, as well as process of introduction of quality management system at the enterprises of Uzbekistan.

The event was conducted by experts in quality system and heads of the bodies of certification Nika-Certification Nataliya Kabaeva, Total Quality Service Olga Vorobyeva and SSP ASTRAIA Manajment Eugeniya Klimova.

The participants familiarized with the stages of developing and introducing quality management systems, problems, which could occur at introduction of the system, as well as advantages of ISO 9001:2008 quality management system.

The participants also received information on activities of Nika-Certification, Total Quality Service and SSP ASTRAIA Manajment.

At the end of the seminar, the participants received certificated.

According to official data, 721 enterprises of Uzbekistan introduced quality management system in line with the requirements of ISO 9001. Major part of them works in Tashkent.

At the same time, 120 enterprises, which introduced the quality management system, operate in machinery industry, 103 – food industry, 62 – in transport sector and 62 – in light industry.
