Tashkent Hosts International Forum on Agro-Innovations
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23–24 March, Tashkent will host an international business forum on “Innovation, Regenerative Agriculture, Exports, and Digitalization for Sustainable Agro-Ecosystems”. Participants will include representatives from Italy, Central Asian countries, and Azerbaijan.
Italy’s Minister of Agriculture, Francesco Lollobrigida, is expected to attend, along with ministers and deputy ministers of agriculture from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
From Italy, more than 120 representatives from leading companies and organizations with significant economic potential will take part. These include heads of ICE (Italian Trade Agency), SACE (Italian Export Credit Agency), SIMEST (State Investment Agency of Italy), as well as sector associations FederUnacoma, Confagricoltura, Confindustria, and CDP. Major companies with annual revenues exceeding €100 million, such as CNH, Agco Italia, Granarolo, UNITEC, and Annovi Reverberi, are also participating.
The forum program includes B2B and B2G meetings, thematic roundtables, and discussions on employment opportunities abroad with Confagricoltura and Fruitimprese. Collaboration in education and science will be addressed through universities from Tushia, Bari, Pisa, Ferrara, Pavia, and Turin.
