Tashkent Hosts Horse Parade Celebrating Navruz Festival
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 March, a ceremonial horse parade was held on Amir Temur Avenue in Tashkent, dedicated to the nationwide Navruz holiday, according to the National Guard of Uzbekistan.
Cavalry units from the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other security agencies participated in the parade, appearing in full ceremonial uniform with complete equipment.
The parade route extended along one of the capital’s main thoroughfares, Amir Temur Avenue.
The National Guard emphasized that such events aim to preserve national traditions, strengthen patriotic values, and create a festive atmosphere for residents and visitors.
Citizens and guests of Tashkent had the opportunity to witness the impressive ceremonial horse parade in honor of the Navruz holiday.
