Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The third annual scientific and technical conference for young specialists, Smart and Young by Saneg, was held at the Tashkent headquarters of Saneg.

The event brought together representatives from various departments of the company, who presented innovative engineering solutions aimed at improving production processes in the oil and gas sector.

Sixteen young specialists took the stage to showcase their projects, which were recognized for their high level of professionalism, relevance, and practical value. The conference served not only as a platform for knowledge exchange but also as an effective tool for developing competencies, encouraging initiative, and integrating applied solutions into industrial practice.

Following the competitive segment of the conference, the jury selected the winners. First place was awarded to Akhmedzhan Turmanov, a first-category engineer at Saneg's Central Administration, for his presentation on optimizing gas extraction using solid foaming agents. His project was highly praised for its systematic approach and its potential to significantly enhance production efficiency.

Second place went to Andranik Mirzayan, who presented a project on automating downhole operations. Third place was shared by Akmal Normurodov and Farrukhbek Zokirov — engineers from Saneg’s Oil Treatment and Transportation Department — for their work on optimizing oil treatment and transportation processes. Fourth place was awarded to Mirshod Kurbunov, who proposed an innovative solution for retrieving damaged tubing during well workovers.

The winners received commemorative prizes in recognition of their professionalism, innovative thinking, and contributions to the company’s production development.
