Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 October, the Tashkent khokimiyat hosted a meeting between the deputy khokim Sharof Rakhmanov and the Chief Executive Officer of AKS Service Group Vais Kais.
The guest informed about the activities of the AKS Service Group, which specializes in providing consulting services in the field of promoting agricultural products on the British market. In particular, the company is engaged in the export of cherries from Uzbekistan to the UK, as well as in the development, legal expertise and support of turnkey investment projects. “We would like to expand our presence in Uzbekistan, open a representative office in Tashkent and participate in various investment projects,” suggested Mr. Vais Kais.
Welcoming the guests, Sharof Rakhmanov supported the desire of the company’s management to expand its presence in our market.
"The supply of food is a sustainable business: despite the pandemic, inflation and other shocks, people always need food," said the deputy khokim, and suggested establishing cooperation with local partners for the supply of agricultural products, carriers and logistics services.
To select areas of cooperation, Sharof Rakhmanov provided a list of promising tasks being solved in the city: modernization of outdated infrastructure, transformation of the urban environment according to the recommendations of Cushman & Wakefield, implementation of social initiatives and other projects.
The parties agreed to maintain contact to concretize possible areas of cooperation.
