Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Deputy Minister of Finance Dilshod Sultanov and Head of the Main Department of Finance of Tashkent Lutfulla Ismatullayev made reports at the capital’s khokimiyat. On the agenda of the session of MPs is the discussion of the draft local budget of Tashkent for 2022.

During the discussion of the draft local budget, it was noted that more than 40 makhallas of the Tashkent region were transferred to the capital, and the funds needed to improve roads, water, gas and electricity were included in the budget for next year. The need to strengthen control over the spending of local budget funds, to ensure its openness and transparency, to pay attention to the allocation of funds from additional sources of the local budget on the basis of public opinion was noted. The issue of redirecting part of taxes and other types of income to local budgets, as well as part of the proceeds from exceeding the forecast of income to regional budgets at the end of each quarter was discussed.

The report of the deputy khokim of the city Furkat Makhmudkhodjaev "On the creation of new makhallas in connection with the division of the Oltintopgan makhalla in Bektemir region, assigning a name to them and changing their borders" was heard and approved.

The deputies considered the issue “On renaming the cemetery “Yakkasaray” in Yakkasaray district into “Fozilota”. This proposal was unanimously approved.

A number of other issues were also discussed, for each appropriate decisions were made.
