Tashkent city governor to appoint head doctors of medical institutions

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a corresponding resolution. According to the presidential resolution, the right to appoint head doctors of Tashkent medical establishment handed over to Tashkent city.

Earlier, the Ministry of Healthcare had the right to appoint head doctors of medical institutions.

Tashkent city governor Rakhmonbek Usmanov adopted a decision on increasing efficiency of reforms in the system of healthcare of the capital city. The document said that the mechanism of rotation of the heads of medical institutions will be implemented.

The employees of the medical institutions will also undergo attestation.
