Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 February 2022, Deputy Khokim of Tashkent, Head of Investment and Foreign Trade Department Sharof Rakhmanov met with the head of a large Indian company Glocal Group, the rector of Glocal University, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal.

Sharof Rakhmanov, welcoming the guests, noted the development of partnerships with Indian businessmen.

The guests, thanking for the warm welcome, voiced a number of investment proposals worth US$71 million, including: the construction of multidisciplinary hospitals, the opening of a medical university, a college and an international baccalaureate school, the creation of an International Center for the Development of Skills and Youth Training, the construction of an International University in Uzbekistan.

The Deputy Khokim supported the initiatives of the Indian company and provided comprehensive answers to all the questions of the guests. The parties discussed options for locating hospitals, considering the possibility of their construction on the basis of the current TashMI in the Almazar district.

The next stage of cooperation is the discussion of the master plan and concrete steps to sign the necessary agreements.
