Tashkent and Georgian Reformatics Agree on Tourism Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Sanjar Tadjiev, Deputy Hokim of Tashkent, held a meeting with a delegation from the Georgian consulting company Reformatics.

The delegation was led by company adviser Otar Berdzenishvili and included representatives from the tourism sector and media.

During the talks, both sides discussed expanding bilateral cooperation, implementing promising large-scale tourism projects, opportunities for international partnerships, and further development of the sector.

Sanjar Tadzhiev emphasized the importance of strengthening interregional ties and noted that such visits contribute to fostering friendly relations between countries and deepening business contacts.

As part of the discussions, the parties agreed to sign a memorandum in November on the implementation of major tourism projects between Tbilisi and Tashkent.

By the President’s directive, approximately ten visits by Reformatics experts were organized in Uzbekistan. Based on their visits to tourist regions, proposals were prepared for developing tourism infrastructure, creating new tourism products, and improving service quality.

Additionally, two interim reports were presented covering nine areas of the project strategy for Uzbekistan’s tourism development through 2040.
