Taraqqiyot street to be renamed to Mahtumquli street

According to the press service of Tashkent city administration, the Council of People’s Deputies of Tashkent adopted a corresponding decision.

It is worth to mention that the change of name of the street took place on the eve of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan. Uzbek leader starts his two-day visit to Turkmenistan on 6 March 2017.
