Tanzila Narbaeva meets with President of Thailand’s National Assembly

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the events of the 150th anniversary assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbaeva, held a meeting with the President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand, Wan Muhammad Noor Matha.

The discussion focused on inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Thailand, as well as collaboration in the legislative sphere.

During the meeting, proposals were discussed for further development of inter-parliamentary relations, including establishing permanent contacts between the parliaments of the two countries, creating friendship groups, and exchanging experiences in agriculture and legislative practices in the field of tourism.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop joint initiatives to further strengthen and enhance inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
