Tajik President Emomali Rahmon Arrives in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Uzbekistan for a state visit.

At Tashkent Humo International Airport, the high-level guest was personally welcomed by President Mirziyoyev. In honor of the visit, the national flags of both countries were raised, and a ceremonial guard was formed.

During the visit, Uzbekistan–Tajikistan high-level talks will take place, along with the first session of the Supreme Intergovernmental Council, aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
