SZU and Uzbekistan Discuss Product Certification and Quality Standards
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Czech Republic’s leading certification authority, Strojírenský zkušební ústav (SZU, s.p.), held an online meeting with staff of the state organization Uzbek Scientific Testing and Quality Control Center.
During the discussion, the parties exchanged experience on CE marking procedures for Uzbek products in line with European Union standards, reviewed certification requirements, and explored opportunities for practical cooperation.
Experts emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for Uzbek manufacturers, as they help improve product quality, align it with international standards, and expand export potential, paving the way to the European market.
CE marking serves as proof that a product meets EU requirements and grants the right to free circulation within the European Union.
