Syrdarya Region Delegation Holds Talks with Japanese Companies on Investment Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Japan, a delegation from the Syrdarya region led by Governor Erkinjon Turdimov held a series of substantive meetings with representatives of the country’s business community.

In particular, talks were held with the management of Kodaira Kogyo Co., Ltd., Asari Kogyo Co., Ltd., and Transnational Diversified Group, Inc., during which the parties discussed prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in industrial manufacturing, technology, and the introduction of advanced solutions.

As part of the visit, the delegation also toured the greenhouse facilities of Aglis Co., Ltd. Erkinjon Turdimov held a separate meeting with the company’s president, N. Hiroyuki, focusing on the implementation of joint projects and opportunities to introduce advanced agricultural technologies in the Syrdarya region.

Later in the day, a business forum titled “Do Business in Syrdarya!” was held with the participation of Japanese and Syrdarya entrepreneurs. During the forum, the region’s investment potential was presented, and B2B and G2B meetings were organized, resulting in the identification of concrete areas for further cooperation.

In addition, Erkinjon Turdimov met with the Governor of Saitama Prefecture, Motohiro Ono. The sides discussed prospects for developing partnerships in priority sectors, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and the food industry.
