Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the Chinese city of Foshan, Syrdarya region governor Erkinjon Turdimov held a roundtable with executives from more than 30 leading companies, discussing concrete areas of cooperation in industry, construction materials production, furniture manufacturing, logistics, and agriculture.

The meeting brought together major companies, including Guangdong Yilong Technology, Guangdong Fuxuan Doors and Windows, Guangdong Wire and Cable, Guangdong New Materials, Wrigley Home Furnishing, Guangdong Camp Integrated Housing, Hisense Marketing Management, and Foshan Karin Furniture. Discussions were held in a constructive business atmosphere focused on practical outcomes.

Particular attention was given to cooperation with Louvre Group in furniture production, trade infrastructure development, and the hospitality sector. Company representatives plan to visit the Syrdarya region in the coming months to study potential projects on site.

With Arrow Group, the parties discussed the localization of sanitary ware and bathroom equipment production, the establishment of modern manufacturing facilities, and accelerating project implementation through a working visit by specialists to the region.

In the agricultural sector, a number of concrete agreements were reached, including the development of processing industries, agrologistics, the creation of modern fish farming and poultry facilities, horticulture development, and the production of mini agricultural machinery. Projects to introduce modern street lighting systems were also agreed upon.

Following the meetings, the sides outlined specific steps and implementation plans. The results of the negotiations in Foshan lay the groundwork for launching new production facilities, establishing joint ventures, and creating thousands of jobs in the Syrdarya region.
