Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of the PRC in Uzbekistan yesterday organized an international online symposium on the theme "A new start in the development of China and Uzbekistan", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Communist Party of China /CPC/.

In her welcoming speech, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan Jian Yang said that over the past century, the party, firmly pursuing the goal of "fighting for the happiness of the Chinese people and the revival of the Chinese nation," support from a wide range of representatives of society.

“In recent years, under the strategic leadership of President Xi Jinping and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, China-Uzbekistan relations of comprehensive strategic interaction have been developing at an accelerated pace. Political mutual trust is consistently strengthening, multifaceted practical cooperation is deepening, exchanges and interaction in the cultural and humanitarian sphere and interregional cooperation are expanding,” the head of the Chinese diplomatic mission said.

Representatives of political parties and public organizations of Uzbekistan spoke highly of the leading role of the CPC in different stages of building socialism with national specifics in China. The participants noted that the experience of the Chinese Communist Party deserves to be studied; they can be applied taking into account the peculiarities of the development of Uzbekistan.

At the end of the symposium, it was noted that the Chinese-Uzbek relations have broad prospects and serve as a worthy example of good-neighborliness, friendship and mutual assistance.
