Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Switzerland donated over 1.14 million medical masks of the second protection class (FFP2) to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health.

The humanitarian cargo was delivered to Uzbekistan on 23 August 2021.

The masks are designed to strengthen the material base of medical institutions in Uzbekistan in the fight against coronavirus, the report said.
