Swiss Company AquaTECH Plans Cooperation with Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 December 2025, representatives of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry held a working meeting with the director of Swiss company AquaTECH.

During the meeting, agency representatives presented an overview of Uzbekistan’s cosmetics industry, detailing ongoing reforms, production infrastructure, investor-friendly conditions, and the sector’s export potential.

It was noted that AquaTECH cooperates with partners in 35 countries and is ready to work with Uzbek enterprises on a contract manufacturing basis.

The parties emphasized that such a partnership will help expand local production, bring joint products to international markets, and create new opportunities for both sides.

Additionally, the meeting highlighted that medicinal and industrially valuable plants grown in Uzbekistan’s regions serve as important raw materials for cosmetics production and play a key role in the development of the national cosmetics industry.
