Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulations on the procedure for reimbursement of part of the costs for the purchase of equipment, such as renewable energy sources and mobile generators, for irrigating cotton and cereal crops.

According to the Regulation, for the irrigation of cotton and cereal crops, with an area of at least 10 hectares, where water-saving irrigation technologies have been introduced, the applicants are provided with the following subsidies:

- up to 50 percent of the cost of purchasing equipment for renewable energy sources, but not more than 100 million soums;

- up to 30 percent of the cost of purchasing equipment for mobile generators, but not more than 30 million soums.

Applicants apply to the khokimiyat of the district with an application for a subsidy. 

Documents are studied within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the application.

Territorial working group:

- every 10 days from the date of receipt summarizes and analyzes the conclusions on the allocation of a subsidy to the applicant;

- submits a list of applicants receiving subsidies to the Ministry of Water Resources by August 1, to the Ministry of Agriculture by November 20.

Accordingly, subsidies are allocated by ministries until August 10 and December 1, respectively.
