Sturgeon Central Asia Balanced Fund acquire shares of Alliance Leasing

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Hedge Fund Sturgeon Central Asia Balanced Fund Ltd. acquired shares of leasing company Alliance Leasing, the Uzbekistan Stock Exchange said.

According to the exchange, the transaction took place on 27 November 2018. As part of the transaction, the hedge fund acquired 26.67 million shares of Alliance Leasing, which accounts for 72.21% of the company’s shares.

Sturgeon Central Asia Balanced Fund Ltd. acquired shares for 8 billion soums, according to the data of UZSE. The cost of one share was 300 soums (the nominal value of the shares is 300 soums).

Hedge Fund Sturgeon Central Asia Balanced Fund Ltd. previously also acquired shares of the insurance company Universal Sug’urta. Share of Sturgeon Central Asia Balanced Fund Ltd. in the authorized capital of Universal Sug’urta is 39.6%.
