Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Regulations on the procedure for admitting successfully graduates of technical schools without exams through an interview for the second year of a university in the direction of a bachelor's degree.
Graduates who have successfully graduated from a technical school are those who during the entire period of study at the end of the semester, the academic performance was “5 (excellent)” and “4 (good)”, while at least 50% of the academic performance (at least 85% for medical universities) is graded “5 (excellent)”.
Graduates of technical schools need to register online through the official website of the Ministry of Higher Education from July 5 to July 25 of each year. Along with the application, you must provide:
- copy of passport or identity card;
- College graduation certificate.
Documents are considered by the selection committee of higher educational institutions until August 5. The results will be announced to applicants through a personal account.
This order comes into force starting from the 2021/2022 academic year, and is valid for two years after graduation from the technical school. Studying at the university is carried out on a paid-contract basis.
The regulation does not apply to higher military, higher paramilitary educational institutions, Tashkent State Law University, foreign and non-state higher educational institutions and their branches.
