Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Students of the Department of English language at AKFA University will have the opportunity to undergo internship at Westminster International School in Tashkent.

This is envisaged by a memorandum of understanding, signed by the leadership of the AKFA University and the Westminster International School in Tashkent (WIST).

Within the framework of the document, educational institutions intend to develop cooperation in the field of education, advanced training, as well as research work.

One of the important areas of bilateral cooperation will be the organization of internships for students of the Department of English language at AKFA University at WIST. In the future, students of the Department of Pedagogy of AKFA University will have a similar opportunity. It should be noted that the administration of the university is now working on the launching of the Department of Pedagogy.

AKFA University and WIST in cooperation plan to conduct joint research, as well as publish scientific articles and educational materials.

Within the framework of the document, the parties also plan to hold forums, seminars, conferences, round tables, and other events.

It should be underlined that the Department of English language will begin its activities from the 2021-2022 academic year. AKFA University plans to admit 100 students to this department. At the same time, this year 42 students, who will receive the highest scores on the entrance exam, will receive discounts from 10% to 100% of the amount of the payment contract.
