Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A list of documents, which students, enrolled to the university, should provide was published on social networks. The list also included taxpayer identification number (TIN), the press service of the State Tax Committee reported.
As a result, situations arise when persons who do not have a TIN or their relatives apply for a TIN to the tax authorities in person or by phone.
In this regard, the committee reminded that from 1 July 2021, registration of individual taxpayers in the state tax authorities is carried out using a personal identification number of an individual (PINFL).
Based on this, from 1 July 2021, the provision of the state service for issuing a taxpayer identification number (TIN) to individuals has been suspended.
The State Tax Committee asks universities not to require TIN from persons recommended for study.
