Street in Gulistan named after Islam Karimov
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Mustaqillik (Independence) street in Gulistan, Syrdarya region, was renamed in honor of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, the hokimiyat (administration) of Syrdarya region said.
According to hokimiyat, the central street Islam Karimov passes through territories of Namuna, Saykal and Shodlik mahallas.
The Administration of Syrdarya region is also located in this street.
