Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- To ensure stability during the quarantine period, the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan took under special control the prices of food and essential goods.

For this, the heads of the respective responsible organizations were given separate instructions. The Department under the General Prosecutor’s Office, the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be involved in the process.

In order to prevent unjustified price increases by unscrupulous entrepreneurs, special working groups were established in the tax authorities of each district, city, regional departments and the Central Office of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan to control price changes.

Identified cases of unjustified price increases are promptly reported to the Chairman of the State Tax Committee. Preventive measures are being taken for each of them.
