Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Natives of the city of Khiva D.U., born in 1969 and his son D.H., born in 1994, while working in the Russian Federation from 2009 to 2015, through social networks came under the influence of recruiters of international terrorist organizations.

As a result, in September 2015, father and son, in order to hide their identities, issued fake passports of the Republic of Tajikistan and traveled to Syria through Turkey, followed by joining the ranks of members of the international terrorist organization "Islamic State", where they took part in hostilities.

Later D.U. left Syria for one of the CIS countries to carry out subversive activities.

As a result of operational-search activities carried out by employees of the State Security Service together with foreign partners, D.U. was arrested and taken to Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that during the arrest of D.U. offered active resistance, and later it turned out that he did not give up his intentions to commit "jihad".

Currently, investigative actions are underway within the framework of the criminal case initiated against D.U., under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.

Also, his son D.H. is wanted.
