Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the press service of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan, a native of Ferghana region, H.M., born in 1995, during his stay abroad as a labor migrant, maintained constant contact via the Internet with members of international terrorist organizations.

Under their influence, in 2019 he left for Syria and joined the terrorist organization "Katibatul Tawhid wal Jihad", participated in the hostilities.

As a result of operational measures carried out by the State Security Service together with foreign partners, H.M. was detained abroad and taken to Uzbekistan.

Currently, as part of the criminal case initiated against him, investigative actions are being carried out.

It should be noted that according to the principle of inevitability of responsibility, provided for in Article 10 of the Criminal Code, no crime will go unpunished.
