Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of the department of the State Security Service for Kashkadarya region, together with the regional department of internal affairs and the territorial department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, carried out a number of operational activities.

In particular, the head of a livestock farm in Kasan district was detained while receiving 590 million soums in advance from the requested 1 billion 200 million soums, for registering 50 hectares of land in the name of the buyer through the possibilities of familiar officials. It should be noted that this land area was allocated to him by the local khokimiyat in 2011, on lease for a period of 49 years.

In the course of an operational operation carried out in Kasbi district, a previously convicted head of a farm was detained along with his accomplice, born in 1981, while receiving 380 million soums from the requested 1 billion 200 million soums, for registering in the name of the buyer 35 hectares of irrigated land intended for the cultivation of cotton and grain crops.

In another case, in Kasbi district, a farm worker, having abused the trust of the head of this farm, intended to sell 14 hectares of land for 130 million soums and was caught red-handed.

In addition, when receiving 5 million soums, an employee of the department of agriculture of the Kasbi district was detained, promising to register this land area in the name of the buyer.

In the course of an operational operation carried out by employees of the State Security Service for Syrdarya region together with the regional department of internal affairs, a repeatedly convicted resident of Syrdarya region, born in 1981, was detained while receiving US$20,000 from the requested US$30,000.

For this money, he promised to register in the name of the buyer 4.5 hectares of land allocated to him in 2021 by the decision of the district khokim to create an intensive horticultural farm using drip irrigation.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated on all facts of offenses under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
