State duty for registration of law offices, firms and colleges has been reduced

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The law signed by the President of Uzbekistan introduced the following changes and additions to the law “On State Duty”.

The functions of registration (re-registration) of law offices, law firms and bar associations and re-registration of legal consultations have been transferred from the justice authorities to the Public Service Centers.

Also, the amount of state duty paid for their registration has been reduced:

- for registration of law offices, law firms and bar associations - the state fee is set at 1 size of basic estimated value (previously - 2 sizes of basic estimated value).

In addition, the Public Service Centers are also entrusted with the registration (re-registration) of gardening and winegrowing partnerships, consumer, production and agricultural cooperatives.
