State Committee on ecology and protection of environment created

The Uzbek leader signed a corresponding decree on 21 April 2017.

The decree said that State Committee on ecology and protection of environment will be accountable to the Cabinet of Ministers.

The new committee will be responsible for public administration in the sphere of ecology, environmental protection, rational use and reproduction of natural resources.

The committee will ensure a favorable ecological state of the environment, protection of ecological systems, natural complexes and individual objects, and improvement of the ecological situation.
