Start Date of Winter School Holidays Announced in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the 2025–2026 academic year, winter holidays in general education schools in Uzbekistan will last 14 days.

According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan, for grades 1 through 4, the holidays will begin on December 27, while for all other grades they will start on December 28, 2025.

The holidays will continue through 10 January 2026. As 11 January falls on a Sunday, classes for the third term will resume on 12 January.
