Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 11 April, a delegation of senior officials (staffers) of the US House of Representatives arrived at the upper house of the Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, a meeting was held between members of the foreign delegation and First Deputy Chairman of the Senate Sodik Safoev.

During the meeting, Safoev expressed his joy in connection with the visit of foreign guests to Uzbekistan and acquainted them with the reforms being carried out in the republic, the activities of the parliament.

Then, during the conversation, the parties discussed the state of implementation of UN programs in Uzbekistan, the prospects for inter-parliamentary cooperation.
