Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In agreement with the Ministry of Energy, JSC "Thermal Power Plants" and the Center for National Dispatch Service, on the night of 29 April from 00-51 the preventive work carried out at the combined-cycle plant No. 20.

In particular, the employees of the central repair shop, as well as the boiler and turbine shops of the power plant cleaned the oil, water and gas filters of the steam-gas turbine.

These preventive works were carried out at night, starting from 00:51, when electricity consumption is minimal, so as not to cause inconvenience to consumers and ensure the stability of production.

- The main goal of carrying out such control and repair work is to ensure a stable power supply to consumers on the upcoming holidays Ramadan Hayit and 9 May "Day of Remembrance and Honor". In addition, these measures will help improve production efficiency and reduce production costs by saving fuel consumption, says Olim Yusupov, General Director of Talimarjan TPP JSC.
