Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, heading an official delegation from St. Petersburg, visited AKFA University in Tashkent, one of the first private universities in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The university was opened in 2019.
The educational institution was founded by the AKFA Medline medical clinic, the largest multidisciplinary medical center in Central Asia.
“Our plans are to expand cooperation and exchange of experience between educational and scientific institutions of St. Petersburg and the Republic of Uzbekistan,” said Alexander Beglov.
At AKFA University, according to international standards, training is conducted in the specialties of medicine, pharmacology, dentistry, accounting and finance, economics, applied mathematics, English, civil engineering, architecture and design, computer engineering, software engineering.
In October 2021, the new campus of the university was opened.
