Squares and streets in Turkmenistan to be named after Islam Karimov

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov said that Turkmenistan will always remember Islam Karimov.

He said that squares and streets in the capital of Turkmenistan and across the country will be named after Islam Karimov.

Turkmen people as close friends of Uzbekistan are also mourning with you and frankly share pain of the Uzbek people, he said.

Turkmen leader said that Islam Karimov was the honoured elder in Turkmenistan and Turkmen people had great sympathy to him.
