Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A teleconference was held between specialists from the medical field of Uzbekistan and France, organized with the assistance of the Embassy of our country in Paris and the Ministry of Health of the republic, Dunyo reported.

The videoconference was attended by resuscitators, infectious disease specialists, virologists of the University Hospital of Lille, (CHU) representatives of the Ministry of Health and more than 120 doctors from the capital and regions of Uzbekistan.

CHU Lille is an advanced European clinic, which includes 14 specialized clinics. They employ 16 thousand employees, and at the same time 12 thousand students undergo training. It is distinguished by strong specialists in the field of cardiology, pulmonology and neurosurgery.

During the event, information was presented on the measures taken by the leadership of our country to counter the Covid-19. It was emphasized that Uzbekistan is interested in the exchange of experience and information with leading foreign experts in combating the pandemic.

European experts praised the measures taken in Uzbekistan to effectively contain the wide spread of the virus.

During the event, foreign experts shared their experience in the fight against coronavirus and studies conducted as part of the fight against this disease.

In particular, resuscitator Julien Poissy and infectious disease specialist Camille Faur talked and answered questions about the epidemiological situation in France, the diagnosis of patients with coronavirus, and methods of treating the disease.

In this context, it should be emphasized that France, being at the forefront of the global confrontation between Covid-19, is effectively combating the spread of coronavirus in the country, and is also developing effective treatment regimens for people infected with this virus.

Earlier, the Embassy of our country in France, together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and with the assistance of the French division of General Electric Healthcare, organized a webinar for domestic specialists with the participation of Chinese doctor Zhong Nanshan, as well as a video conference with specialists of the Central Public Hospital of Paris “AP- HP ”(Assistance publique - Hôpitaux de Paris).
