Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the Bukhara refinery modernization project, SKE&C plans to conduct a study of the project site in October-November 2020.

To date, the first group of SKE&C specialists has arrived and began to study the production sites of the enterprise, to which a working group from the Bukhara refinery is assigned.

A meeting with representatives of SKE&C was held on the territory of the Bukhara refinery. A working meeting was held during which issues related to the implementation of the project for the modernization and reconstruction of the Bukhara oil refinery were discussed.

The specialists of Uzbekneftegaz and the Bukhara Oil Refinery studied the issues related to payment for contractual obligations with SKE&C. The issue of concluding a confidentiality agreement (NDA) between UOP and Axens on the provision of technical data on a gas oil hydrotreater was also considered.

SKE&C raised the issue of visiting Bukhara refinery specialists to the SKE&C head office in Seoul (South Korea) to work together to speed up the project. The directions (instrumentation, mechanics, construction, design and technology) necessary for solving issues on the project of modernization and reconstruction of the enterprise have been determined.
