It should be noted that the agreement on allocation of an expert for the khokim of Tashkent was reached during the state visit of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea in November 2017.
The contract with Kim Yu Shik was signed for one year. The municipality of Seoul will pay the salary of the adviser, the Uzbek side will cover his living and travel costs.
The South Korean specialist will take part in creation of a situational center for management of the city in Tashkent, similar to Seoul.
The center will allow to observe in online mode all the situation in the city in the municipal sphere, town-planning, fire safety, rapid reaction system. It will also connect all outdoor video surveillance cameras, Alisher Tilyaev said.
Kim Yu Shik will also help the khokimiyat implement a web-based cadastral service of the city. This agreement was reached with the South Korean company GEO2. To date, a tripartite joint venture has been established with the participation of the khokimiyat, GEO2 and the Unicon.uz Center. The enterprise has already started working on the concept of the system.
The new system will allow to exclude paper red tape in the work of notary services. "The essence of the system is that a citizen from his home can, through a mobile phone or computer, have access to all cadastral documents and the ability to pay taxes. Notary services will also be able to use the data of the electronic database when providing services, "he said.
Tilyaev said that this is a commercial project. Its cost is about US$3 million. In addition to the state fee, a commission fee for services will be determined.
