Special Industrial Zone “Yangi Avlod” Allocates 60% of Plots for Investment Projects in Nine Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Special Industrial Zone (SIZ) “Yangi Avlod,” located in the Yangihayot district of the capital, has summarized its performance over the first nine months of 2025.

According to the zone’s management, 60% of its territory has already been allocated for investment projects by both local and international companies.

The announcement by DP World (UAE) regarding the construction of Uzbekistan’s first multimodal logistics hub is expected to further increase investor interest in the zone.

New Residents and Strategic Projects

One of the first residents of SIZ “Yangi Avlod” is East Can Solutions, which was visited by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in October 2025.

The zone also hosts production facilities of major domestic and foreign companies, including JAC Motors Toshkent, a joint automotive manufacturing venture, and EAS, a developer of anti-drone systems incorporating artificial intelligence, as well as several enterprises in mechanical engineering, logistics, and high-tech sectors.

World-Class Infrastructure

“‘Yangi Avlod’ is being developed as a platform with world-class infrastructure. The country’s first multimodal logistics hub, complete with its own railway station, is under construction. According to our estimates, it will enable companies to reduce logistics costs by around 10%. We aim to make the zone convenient and attractive for businesses across various sectors through modern engineering solutions and intelligent systems,” said Farrukh Abdusolomov, CEO of the SIZ.

Investment Incentives and Business Environment

Residents of SIZ “Yangi Avlod” benefit from a wide range of tax and customs incentives, including exemptions from import duties on equipment and raw materials, profit tax, property and land taxes, and fees for water resource use.

With modern engineering, transport, and digital infrastructure, the zone is becoming one of the most promising locations for industrial and technological projects in Tashkent and Central Asia.
