Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A fatal road accident occurred in Tashkent, the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent reported.

On 31 October, at about 18.30 o’clock, a 26-year-old driver of the Spark car hit a pedestrian on the Ring Road in Yunusabad district of Tashkent city.

As a result of the accident, a 65-year-old man was injured and died on the way to the hospital.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 266 (“Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles”) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
