Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the 2022 harvest, a total of 1,034,223 hectares of area are planned to be sown with cotton seeds across Uzbekistan. About 9,000 seeders are used in the cotton fields. More than 2,500 sowing teams work in all clusters across the country.

For the 2022, it is planned to sow 146.5 thousand hectares of land with soybean crop in the republic, in particular, 82.5 thousand hectares in open areas and 64.0 thousand hectares in cotton inter-row spacing.

In total, 181.4 thousand tons of soybeans are expected to be grown from these areas: 146.2 thousand tons from open areas and 35.2 thousand tons from cotton fields.

The projected crop is 36,000 tons of vegetable oil and 136,000 tons of soybean meal. Soybean meal will be directed to 38 million birds grown in industrial conditions.
