South Korea plans to partially resume the inflow of labor migrants from Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The head of the representative office of the Agency for External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan held talks with the Vice President of the Human Resources Development Service of South Korea. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

The parties discussed the issue of a phased restoration of labor migration processes. The Uzbek side provided information on the epidemiological situation in Uzbekistan and the types of vaccines available in the country.

Vice President of the Human Resources Development Service of South Korea said that the country plans to partially resume the inflow of labor migrants from Uzbekistan. At the same time, first of all, it is supposed to include citizens who worked at enterprises in South Korea for 4 years and 10 months, as well as those who have undergone full vaccination.

It was noted that strict adherence to quarantine rules plays an important role in ensuring the regular entry of labor migrants into South Korea.
