Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea held a videoconference with representatives of the Asian Water Council and the Korean Water Resources Corporation, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the talks, issues of further strengthening cooperation in the field of ensuring the technical and physical safety of dams in Uzbekistan were discussed.

The South Korean side expressed its readiness to provide the necessary support in this area through financial and technical assistance, as well as sending highly qualified specialists to Uzbekistan.

In order to discuss the plans for further cooperation in more detail, an agreement was reached to organize a videoconference for South Korean specialists and representatives of interested ministries and departments of Uzbekistan.
