Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Mothers, working in budgetary organizations, with children at age of 3-7, who attend kindergartens will be allowed to work in a reduced mode from 10 to 18 January. This was reported by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan.

The Government of Uzbekistan extended the holidays in all educational institutions of the country due to the impending cold weather until 17 January  2023.

According to Uzhydromet, abnormal frosts of up to -27 degrees are approaching Uzbekistan. Such weather will be observed on 10-15 January.

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education noted that mothers of children aged 3-7 years old who attend kindergartens and working in budgetary organizations will be allowed to work in a reduced mode during unscheduled holidays on 10-18 January while maintaining their full salary.

Kindergarten employees will be paid their current wages during the period of additional leave.
