Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the Presidential resolution “On social support for the elderly and persons with disabilities, as well as the further development of the system of boarding houses Sakhovat and Muruvvat, from 1 April 2021, the following increases:

- official salaries of the following employees of the Sakhovat and Muruvvat boarding houses, as well as the Republican boarding house for war and labor veterans:

- managers and doctors - 1.5 times;

- middle and junior medical personnel - 2 times;

- all other employees - 1.2 times;

- official salaries of employees of the Agency’s central office - 1.5 times, territorial administrations and district (city) departments of the Agency, the central office and territorial commissions of the Republican Inspectorate for Medical and Social Expertise - 1.2 times;

- the minimum monthly pension paid for personal expenses of lonely pensioners living in Sakhovat boarding houses and the Republican boarding house for war and labor veterans - from 10 percent to 20 percent.

For war and labor veterans, a modern physiotherapy department will be created in the Republican boarding house for war and labor veterans.

Also, in 2021-2024, target quotas will be allocated in the higher educational institutions of the republic for higher education by social workers working in district (city) departments for the development of medical and social services

Once a year, starting from May 2021, free rehabilitation will be organized in sanatoriums of the country for the elderly and persons with disabilities living in Sakhovat boarding houses and the Republican boarding house for war and labor veterans, at the expense of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.

Starting from 1 April  2021, one full-time librarian will be introduced in the Sakhovat and Muruvvat boarding schools.
