Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President "On measures to develop the service sector in museums" was adopted.
In accordance with the resolution from 1 July 2022:
- State museums are granted the right to provide services to visitors daily until 22.00;
- State museums can determine the duration of work at night;
- employees of museums who took part in the provision of paid services are paid additional payments, they are financially encouraged;
- State museums are allowed to hire additional staff on the basis of a civil law contract.
State organizations and institutions donate samples of new types of specialized products produced by them to state museums free of charge.
According to the Decree, from July 1, 2022, a nationwide action "My contribution to the national heritage!" will be organized, aimed at stimulating and popularizing the acquisition of cultural property by state museums from the population.
As part of the Journey to the Past program, including:
- Citizens and persons with disabilities included in the "Iron Notebook", "Women's Notebook" and "Youth Notebook" visit state museums free of charge;
- the expenses of citizens included in the "Iron Notebook", "Women's Notebook" and "Youth Notebook" for the purchase of railway tickets and accommodation in accommodation facilities are covered in full at the expense of the funds of these notebooks, respectively.
