Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On Tuesday, 98 Uzbek citizens were transported from Syria to Tashkent as part of the humanitarian operation Mehr-3.
The humanitarian operation was carried out on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
A special flight to Tashkent from Syria brought 25 women and 73 children.
Upon arrival in Uzbekistan, they will be provided with medical, psychological, material and moral assistance.
For them, the necessary conditions will be created for their return to a normal peaceful life and integration into society, access to educational and other social programs, including through the provision of adequate housing and employment.
Earlier the Government of Uzbekistan carried out two humanitarian actions "Mehr-1" and "Mehr-2". As part of these actions, more than 220 women and children were returned to Uzbekistan from the conflict zone in the Middle East.
